The holidays are dumb. Everyone's gone away to Brazil or Mandurah or where-ever and there's pretty much nothing to do.
I mean, Zelda's fun, but I get frustrated. Dad's video camera is fucked now (jee, thanks Jordan) and the entire YouTube community is probably celebrating now, so I'll be happy they're happy.
The net cut out for a day yesterday, so actually coming to terms with the real world (chasing magazines blowing down the road from the stacks I made in the trailer, and being watched in morbid fascination by our neighbours) was pretty fun. I love a good load of washing. Or six.
Things I did yesterday:
-Chase magazines down
-Read 'Life of Pi'
-Wrote
-Thought about a typewriter
-Watched Alexa's concert
-Checked my emails a few too many times
I have to cook something so I'll do that sometime this week, but a few things on my list can't be completed and I hope my failure won't be too disappointing but I'll be sorry all the same.
I don't know whether other people get this but I get periods of time during boredom where I remember all the things I'm sorry for and embarrassed about, like throwing tennis balls stupidly hard at the floor and making small pocket-holes in roofs.
Why did I do that? It wasn't funny…
And other bigger things that don't really make sense to anyone else.
Anyway there you go Lee and Sally and whoever the fuck reads the anonymously and doesn't have the balls to comment or whatever.
